Personal Needs Services
Integra Home Services Agency in Connecticut offers homemaker services, companion services, and activities personalized to your individual needs. We provide flexible schedules with a minimum of three (3) hours required. Our personal needs services (i.e., nonmedical and supportive services) can be provided individually or in a community setting. Our customized personal needs services include, but are not limited to, bathing, grooming, dressing, non-medical assistance in maintaining skin integrity and in relieving skin conditions toileting/incontinence assistance and meal preparations by our compassionate staff.
Transportation
Integra Home Services Agency can provide supervised transportation services for doctor appointments, shopping trips, errands, salon visits, short outings and special events. We’re here for you whenever you need us. In addition, we offer non-medical pre- and post-operation services that include specialized personal needs services and transportation before and after surgery or healthcare procedures.
Specialized Services
Daytime and Overnight Supervision
Integra Home Services Agency offers our clients flexible and dependable schedules with a minimum of three (3) hours required. Daytime and Overnight supervision may include personal needs services, companion services and/or homemaker services. Daytime needs can start as early as the individual would like and continue throughout the day. Overnight supervision can include safety checks, toileting assistance, and any other personal needs services that may be needed. Each service can continue for up to 24 hours, based on the individual’s request.
Live-In Companion Services
In addition to hourly services, we also offer 24-hour, live-in companion services. For this service, it is required that the live-in companion have a separate sleeping area, as well as a place to store their personal belongings. The live-in companion is also allowed 8 hours of sleep.
Respite Services
Integra Home Services Agency can assure that your loved one is in good hands while you take a much-needed break — for a day, evening, weekend or entire vacation. Our respite, or short-term services, can allow you the time you need to maintain your own quality of life while providing personal needs, homemaker, and companion services for a loved one.
Pre-/Post- Op Services
Integra Home Services Agency offers personal needs services to those individuals who may be going in for or coming home from surgery. Our nonmedical Pre-Op services include preparing the client for their surgery day, including specific diet needs, voiding schedules and transportation services to doctors’ appointments. Our non-medical Post-Op services include transportation home from the hospital, pharmacy stops for prescribed medications, as well as medication reminders, errands, laundry services, bed linens and any non-medical post- surgery needs the individual may have. Each service plan is tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
Memory Impairment Services
Our other family businesses, The Arbors and The Ivy, offer Reflections, an assisted living residential program that offers specialized memory support in a safe, homelike environment.
